Conference Information

Join us for the best three days of high school theater in Georgia. The Georgia Thespian Conference features numerous productions presented by high schools from throughout the state. Plus, you'll be able to participate in a variety of workshops led by theater professionals from around the country. And if that weren't enough, you also can perform or view individual performance and tech events, audition for scholarships, talk to college representatives from around the country, shop with commercial vendors selling theater merchandise, and hang out with 2,750 other Georgia Thespians.

Registration for the 2012 Georgia Thespian Conference will open Monday, October 3, 2011 and close Monday, November 21, 2011.
Late registration may be available after the deadline, if space is available or until registration closes, for a nominal fee.

Initiated high school Thespians in grades 9-12, their Troupe Directors, and chaperone(s) are welcomed at the conference.  All delegates are expected to attend all conference activities.

All students must be chaperoned by an adult for the entire conference.

Because the conference is an educational event for high school students and their teachers and is bound by seating limitations, participation in all events will be available only to Thespian troupes who have registered by the registration cut-off date.

Meals

Registration includes four meals: dinner on Thursday, lunch and dinner on Friday, and lunch on Saturday.

 Show Ticketing Procedures

Thespian Troupe directors will submit requests for tickets to the shows through an online form that will be available on our website starting January 17, 2012. Directors should complete the form and email it to ticketing@gathespians.org.

Troupe ticket orders will be filled in the order that the forms are received. If a show is sold out, that show will no longer be offered on the form. If a director requests tickets for a show that is sold out, the director will be notified via email and allowed to make a second choice.

The ticketing form will not be available after 6:00 PM on January 29, 2012.

Your Troupes tickets will be included in the director's packet at Thespian Conference registration. A ticket exchange table will be available at conference for directors wishing to exchange tickets.
